"Yes, come in!" Roxas didn't even have to avert his attention from the piano when the door quietly creaked open, revealing a raven-haired girl in peasant's garments. She walked swiftly yet softly to his side and bowed down low once she was at his side. "Y-You called for me, sir Montague?"

"Please, just call me Roxas," the blonde smiled gently as he stopped playing the piano, stepping up from his seat and walking right in front of the ravenette, cobalt orbs meeting with sapphire blues. Xion flinched at his level stare, unused to such gentle emotion towards her. "I'm sorry if I bothered you at such a late time, but how... how is... Kairi doing?"

"She's asleep, sir Mon- I mean Roxas," Xion stated in a monotone voice, glad that he hadn't seen her cringe when he said Kairi's name. "Sora checked before I came here, like how he usually does." Kairi was Roxas's bride-to-be, and only he, Xion, Kairi and Sora, Xion's brother were the only people who knew about this wedding. Montagues and Capulets... they never did mix well with each other. 'Except for Roxas and Kairi, of course,' Xion almost said out loud.

"O-Oh, okay... That is... all," Roxas said, and Xion bowed down low again, with curiosity growing in her. Was that all? Was that the only reason he had asked for her to come? She kept those questions to herself, of course, as she is only a lowly servant of the Montagues, and Xion even considered it a crime to just look at Roxas, who was the exact definition of an angel.

She was about to leave the room, her hand already on the knob, when suddenly, her wrist was gripped tightly. "Wait..." a hoarse whisper said in her ear, and Xion shuddered, her face flushing. She turned around once again and was somehow able to keep up with Roxas's serious stare. "D-Don't go yet."

"Why..?" Xion was able to breath out. Roxas stepped back slightly, and Xion had just noticed that his hand was behind his back. When he had laid it out in front of him, Xion froze.

"A... rose?"

"Yes."

"For Mistress Kairi, I take?"

"No..." Roxas knelt down, keeping his gaze on her blue orbs. "It's... for you."

'What?'

"I love you."

ROMEO AND CINDERELLA. That song is still stuck in my head. Technically, this was a story I thought about somewhere late last year, before I joined FF, and I had completely forgotten about it until I found a notebook with an incomplete summary of the story. DAMN IT, NO WONDER I WAS SO BUGGED WHENEVER I LISTENED TO ROMEO AND CINDERELLA LATELY.

No, that's not the complete story. It's just a fragment. Technically, it's a multichap, and as much as I want to work on it right away, I've still got shit goin on here and there so I gotta clear stuff outta my slate before I can even work on the BEGINNING of this thing. Hell, I don't even know if this scene will be included in the official story if I ever decide to write it. :'D
